Social Play will be celebrating their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Saturday, November 9th at 10 a.m. The Ribbon Cutting will take place at 10am, followed by an open house/”meet and greet” inside the business.
Social Play is an indoor play space for children under age five offers a safe and imaginative environment. Equipped with age-appropriate play structures, sensory activities, and interactive zones, it provides endless fun while promoting social skills and developmental growth. Social Play also offers private rentals for birthday parties.
SPECIAL NOTE: Child participation in the play spaces require that a waiver be signed on entering. You are welcome to come in and tour the facility, but there will be no entry into the play spaces proper.
Monsters on Main Street returns to Brookfield on Saturday, October 26th from noon to 3pm. Costume up, and “trick or treat” the Broadway and Grand Boulevard Business Districts. The costume contest starts at 3pm at the Historic Grossdale Station.
Join the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce in welcoming Taquero Mucho to the Brookfield Business Community. Their menu will NOT disappoint! The Ribbon Cutting will occur at 4:30 pm. You are welcome to visit the restaurant afterwards, peruse their menu, have a bite to eat and meet the owners.

60 To Win Tickets will be on sale July 5th, 2024, and drawings begin September 19th and occur each Thursday at 4:30 pm for ten weeks (last drawing is November 21st, 2024).
60 To Win Raffle tickets are $20 each, and your number is included in EVERY drawing for the entire ten weeks. Each week, one $500 prize and five $100 prizes are awarded.
Drawings take place at Joe’s Saloon, and are open to the public. You can also watch the drawings “live” on the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

National Night Out is the Brookfield Community’s celebration of our Police, Fire Fighters and First Responders. Due to renovations being performed at Ehlert Park, there will be no event to attend this year. However, please take some time to express your gratitude and appreciation for our Police and Fire Departments and First Responders. We will be providing meals and treats for them all day as a way of saying “THANK YOU” from the community.
The World-famous Brookfield Zoo is the site of the July “After Hours” meet-up. Please join us for a casual evening (no agenda) of lite bites, drinks, the Brookfield Zoo Animal Ambassadors, and networking. This is a family-friendly event, so be sure to RSVP the number of adults and children that will be attending. Deadline to RSVP is July 20th, 2024.
The Classic Car Show returns to the 3700 block of Grand Blvd on July 21st, 2024. We expect 100+ cars to register. Prizes will be awarded. Businesses on the street will be open for business and ready to welcome our guests.

The Farmers Market runs each Saturday June 1st through October 12th from 8am to 1pm in the lot of the Village of Brookfield building.
